Important information when buying fitted sheets and molton protectors

Differences in size and function

The cot fitted sheet and molton mattress protector in this comparison measure 60 by 120 cm. The set of two fitted sheets is for a cradle mattress measuring 40 by 80 or 90 cm. A molton mattress protector goes under a fitted sheet and absorbs moisture. These three products therefore do not form a complete set for the same bed.

A smoothly made-up mattress

Use a firm, flat mattress that fits the bed properly. VeiligheidNL advises against a plastic mattress cover. An ordinary molton mattress protector is different from a waterproof protector.

A protective layer does not make sleeping on the stomach safe. Do not place an extra soft mattress or folded cloth under your baby.

Best fitted sheets and molton protectors: which suit you?

The Jollein fitted sheet shown here is for a cot mattress. The Meyco set contains two crib-size fitted sheets. The Meyco molton protector absorbs moisture beneath a fitted sheet and does not replace it. Your mattress dimensions determine which version fits.
